MEEP

so i have this longstanding relationship with the idea of chickens. it stems from my obsession with the idea of "meep" cup your hands together and then open them slowly with a questioning quiet "meeeeep?" to me that is a baby chick.

anyway, on top of the meep desire i really have been wanting chicks. i grew up on eggs from the coop, i spent my childhood mornings collecting, and i finally have a big enough backyard. plus portland doesn't require a permit for three or less in city limits. thus the research begins...
