this week has been real life in gray then sun then gray portland. exploring time mixed with working mixed with unpacking time as created a lot of coffee shop hopping, a lot of long afternoons playing vinyl with open windows, and short bursts of exploratory bike rides.

so far the most workable cafe's i've found are as follows:
extracto in the morning
albina press in the afternoon
crema around lunch if a table presents itself - otherwise forget it.
concordia coffee shop for all the filler.

im caffeinated, slightly hung and in need of a dance party. suggestions?

thanksgiving is on its way. where will you spend it?
im heading to the coast - cabin - cooking - friends and strangers. pretty excited.
its always interesting to take a family tradition and transfer it to friends. a group of girls last night we were, sitting around the table talking shop about recipes to be made. "you dont have deviled eggs?!?" "you like cranberry from the can?!?" "bread?" each person has expectations of time tested treats, im guessing our table will be overflowing.

so yes... looking forward to turkey. painting our kitchen. mixtape in a day - friends bought a bag of 44 tapes and since i still cart around a gigantic tape deck we will be making the ultimate mix tape. pretty stoooooked about it. and um early december will be bringing n8 van dyke up north which should get me to start exploring the pearl and make me miss san fran a bit. check out his show if you get a chance.

sometimes i just cant believe that i ever was a smoker and sometimes i forget im not. it sounds a bit pathetic but its utterly blown that i dont have a little package of time filler in my purse. hrm. LOVE IT.
